The southern tower of St. Nicholas´ crowned by a baroque spire dating from the 17th century rises to a height of 103 metres. The other one is covered only by a simple, nearly flat roof, because there obviously has been a permanent lack of  money in the council pot since the end of the 30 Years´ War.
